Shannon Asbell
Shannon is the owner & operator of Body & Soul Spa & Salon. She has been working as an Aesthetician and a Nail Tech for 15 years. Her career has taken her to many places. She worked for a very high end hotel chain for 7 years before she decided it was time to open her own salon and spa. Body & Soul has been open for 7 years and most of the staff has been with her for 6 years of that. Shannon has a passion for all aspects of beauty but specializes in aesthetics and natural nail care. Shannon highly values advanced education in herself and her staff. She has dedicated her career to exceeding the expectation of her clients. Shannon takes great pride in her staff and is very honored to have such a professional and dedicated team to work beside. She is a small town girl who has always had big goals and even bigger dreams.
Shannon has attended several ISPA conventions, IECSC Vegas, ABS Chicago, Premier Orlando, CosmoProf Vegas, Peerless SLC and continued master training in Eminence. Being an expert in her field she also has extensive knowledge of products such as Dermalogica, YonKa, Emenience Organics, Cellex C, Glo Theraputics & Minerals, Young Blood Cosmetics, TempTu Air Brush, Ceripil Wax, SunFX, OPI, Redken, Moroccan Oil Hair & Body and Me Bath!
Heather Asbell
Master Nail Technician, Lead Make Up Artist, Sun Fx Specialist & Body Treatment Therapist Heather Asbell has been at Body & Soul Spa for 7 years. Her specialties include the entire realm of nail applications. From Young Nail Acrylic, OPI & Gelish Gel Nails, Manicures & Pedicures.
Heather specializes also in wedding make up application, with the NEW Temptu Pro line of airbrush makeup, leaving the bride and bridal party flawless on their big day. Other specialties include Sun Fx Spray On tan a all natural company that gives her clients looking their best year round.
For Body treatments Heather specializes in Chi Slimming & Detox body wraps, Eminence Herbal Cellulite Treatments and the conventional Sugar, Salt, Mud & Seaweed steam room therapies. What Heather brings to Body & Soul Spa is experience, knowledge and education. She goes to continuing education every year making sure that she can offer her clients the newest most up to date treatments in the world.
Shannon M. Rogers
Shannon started her career in cosmetology with an in depth, hands on education at Vogue Beauty College, graduating in 2007. She takes great pride in continuing her education, staying current with the trends as well as new techniques in the ever-evolving beauty industry.
Shannon enjoys all aspects of being a stylist and specializes in coloring, cutting, formal styling, waxing and of course, nails. She loves the industry and that it allows her to be creative, helping her clients look and feel their best, while expressing herself artistically.
Shannon is a certified Short 2 Long extensions stylist, and has completed courses with Babe hair extensions, Redken color, Davines, Keratin Complex, Brazilian Blowout, Purology, Joico,Cirepil Wax, The Waxing queen, Pivot Point cutting, Glo minerals and master training in Eminence Organics.
Karey Furan
Since 2004 Karey has been a licensed esthetician and nail tech. She is a native of Montana and has lived and practiced her talents in Jackson since 2007.
Karey strives to provide her clients with a very relaxing atmosphere where they can come to rejuvenate their bodies and minds. Her number one priority is providing clients with a one of a kind experience they will not soon forget.
Karey's qualifications in esthetics are abundant she has training in Hydra Facial, LED light treatments, Soli-Tone, lash and brow tinting, Eminence Organics, Glo minerals and Young Blood. She has received master training from the one and only Wax Queen. Karey also has training with Sun-FX, OPI and Essie.
Brianna Graner
As a 2007 graduate of The Hair Academy a Paul Mitchell partner school, Brianna received advanced hands-on training with industry leaders, collected numerous awards, and graduated with honors. With six years of experience and an abundance of advanced education, Brianna continues to apply the hottest trends and everyday changes of the beauty industry into her artistry.
Brianna specializes in hair coloring technique, advanced cutting, makeup design, the craft of nails and is continuing to excel in esthetics. Brianna's passion is making every client look their absolute best and feel great about themselves.
Brianna has master training and extensive product knowledge in Eminence Organics, Hydra Facial, Glo Minerals, Young Blood, Redken, Paul Mitchell, Purology, Davines, Bracoto, Keratin Complex, Brazilian Blowout, Babe Tape-In extensions, OPI and Essie.
Sara Hatch
Sarah is the star of all things massage here at Body & Soul. Sara is a very experienced Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), her styles range from deep tissue to sports massage and stress reduction relaxation messages. Sara is also certified in Poultice Therapy, a deeply penetrating treatment using warmed poultice mixture of healing, restorative herbs, seaweeds and minerals. Poultice treatments improve circulation and promote relaxation creating a truly therapeutic experience. While taking advanced education Sara has gained her certification in Bamboo Fusion the use of a hollow organically treated bamboo canes that are warmed and used in general massage. This technique works in a very similar way to a hot stone massage, its main function is to sooth sore muscles, increase circulation and aids in providing a sense of deep relaxation. Sara's mission is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness.
Medical Director
Dr. Buck Parker, M.D. is a General Surgeon who has also been trained in minimally invasive cosmetic procedures of the Face & Body. His specialties include the “Non-Surgical Facelift”, non-surgical cheek augmentation, lip augmentation, Botox, facial wrinkle removal, varicose vein removal and will soon be adding non-surgical cellulite & fat reduction. Dr. Parker was drawn to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures because of the amazing instant results & minimal downtime it provides to his patients. He also is an artist who enjoys charcoal & oil as two of his favorite mediums.
Dr. Parker graduated from Jackson Hole High School in the early 90s and spent over 15 years pursuing his medical education and training. His General Surgery training was at the 900 bed Henry Ford Hospital in downtown Detroit Michigan. He returned to Jackson 3 years ago and currently also practices General Surgery at St. John’s Medical Center here in Jackson.
